The Sejong Fire Department (Chief Park Taewon) recently promoted the '119 Multi-Media Emergency Reporting Service' and distributed first aid kits that allow for self-administered emergency care at the Jochiwon Immigrant Center, aiming to strengthen the emergency response capabilities of foreign migrant workers.

The 119 Multi-Media Emergency Reporting Service is designed for foreign migrant workers who may face difficulties during emergencies due to language and cultural differences. It enables reporting emergencies through various methods, including text messages, video calls, and three-way interpretation services for foreigners.

The first aid kits distributed on this day included stickers explaining the '119 Emergency Situation Management Center Multi-Media Reporting Service' with pictorial instructions, making them easy for foreigners to understand.

Yoon Kilyoung, Director of the 119 Comprehensive Situation Room at the Sejong Fire Department, stated, "Foreign migrant workers are valuable members of our society, so we will establish practical response systems to ensure they are not left out during emergencies." He added, "We will continue to pursue more effective support measures in the future."
