Sejong Credit Guarantee Foundation Launches Support Campaign for Construction Workers Amid Heatwave

Operation of a Cafe During the Jochiwon Peach Festival

Kim Hyomyung, Chairman of Sejong Credit Guarantee Foundation, is handing a peach beverage to a construction worker while delivering a message of encouragement.

A campaign to support people during the heatwave, in connection with the Jochiwon Peach Festival that began on the 25th, is currently underway.

The Sejong Credit Guarantee Foundation announced that it organized this campaign at a local cafe in Naseong-dong, Sejong City, to promote the Jochiwon Peach Festival for revitalizing the local economy. The campaign was also prepared to prevent heat-related illnesses and encourage construction site workers who are particularly vulnerable to the intense heat of the summer season.

The foundation actively encouraged participation in the festival by distributing promotional materials to local residents. At the same time, they delivered refreshing peach beverages to workers at nearby construction sites to support them in overcoming the heatwave.

Kim Hyomyung, Chairman of the Foundation, stated, "I hope this campaign will provide at least some strength to workers who are struggling with labor in the extreme heat," and added, "We wish for the success of the Jochiwon Peach Festival and will continue to pursue various campaigns that promote mutual growth with the local community."
