This lecture provided easy-to-understand guidance on the differences between LH Happy Housing and Jeonse Rental Housing, the application procedures, and income requirements. It also included a live demonstration of the application process through the official website, offering practical information that young people can use immediately.
Additionally, the lecture introduced methods for joining guarantee programs to prevent Jeonse fraud and explained how to sign safe contracts.
Recently, housing instability among the youth has emerged as a social issue. According to Statistics Korea, one out of three single-person youth households is living in housing poverty, and the housing cost burden ratio for young people is 1.5 times higher than the average for all households.
Many young people are postponing independence, marriage, and even childbirth due to high Jeonse and monthly rent prices, as well as strict loan requirements.
This special lecture was organized to provide essential information to young people facing these realities.
The lecture was led by Moon Boseon, a certified realtor with 10 years of experience. He introduced the current status of LH Happy Rental Housing located in Mulgeum and Sasong New Towns in Yangsan City, and demonstrated the application process live on the LH website. He also clearly explained the differences between Happy Housing and Jeonse Rental Housing, and presented practical strategies for transitioning from Jeonse living to home ownership.
Park Hyunkyung, director of the Yangsan City Youth Center, stated, "The first wish of young people is simply to have a stable place to live. However, many young people miss out on opportunities due to a lack of information and complicated procedures," adding, "This lecture will provide young people with the courage and methods to take their first step toward housing stability."
Practical support such as this special lecture will serve as a solid foundation to strengthen the lives of young people. Moving forward, various policies will be expanded so that young people can stably plan their futures in Yangsan.
