On July 23, Mayor Bang Sehwan visited two leading local manufacturing companies, Jinju Shell and Eco Clock Co., Ltd., to listen to the difficulties faced on site and discuss customized support measures for businesses.

This visit was carried out to directly inspect the production environments of small and medium-sized enterprises that drive the local economy and to establish support policies that companies can tangibly benefit from.

The first company visited that day, Jinju Shell, is a business that has inherited and developed the traditional mother-of-pearl culture over three generations. It has attracted attention in both domestic and international markets through products that combine traditional lacquerware inlaid with mother-of-pearl techniques with modern design.

The next company, Eco Clock Co., Ltd., is a strong small business that continues to collaborate with world-renowned luxury brands based on its advanced ceramic processing technology. It has secured international competitiveness with its independently developed precision surface processing technology.

Mayor Bang Sehwan stated, "Local companies that are taking on the global market based on their excellent technology and tradition are a great source of pride for Gwangju City," and added, "We will continue to find answers on site, maintain ongoing communication with businesses, and spare no necessary support."

Meanwhile, the city plans to use this field visit as an opportunity to further expand customized support policies for businesses and to strengthen its ongoing communication system with companies.
