Naver Pay Signs Service Agreement with Kona I for Gyeonggi Local Currency... "Integration with Consumption Coupons"

Register 29 Gyeonggi Local Currencies as Npay On-site Payment Methods
Earn Points When Paying at Local Gift Certificate Merchants

Naver Pay announced on the 25th that it has signed a business agreement with Kona I, a company specializing in local gift certificates, to provide services for Gyeonggi Local Currency and Gimpo Pay.

If users apply for the livelihood recovery consumption coupon using Gyeonggi Local Currency or Gimpo Pay, they can earn points by registering Gyeonggi Local Currency as a payment method on Naver Pay.


The two companies plan to further enhance their services next month, enabling users to recharge each local gift certificate as Naver Pay Money through the Naver Pay application.


Lee Hyangcheol, Head of Pay Service at Naver Pay, said, "Npay has been working to revitalize local economies by integrating payment with 104 types of local gift certificates, including Gyeonggi Local Currency, Gimpo Pay, as well as Daegu, Jeju, and Busan local currencies." He added, "Through our collaboration with Kona I, we will strive to activate even more local gift certificates."
