DB Insurance Launches Pet Insurance with Seol Chaehyun and Lee Kiwoo That Includes Donations

DB Insurance announced on July 25 that it has signed a business agreement (MOU) with veterinarian Seol Chae-hyun and actor Lee Ki-woo to expand its pet insurance business.

With this agreement, DB Insurance has launched the "Seol Chae-hyun & Lee Ki-woo's Save Pet Plan" Direct Petbly Dog Insurance, which supports retired 119 rescue dogs simply by signing up.

DB Insurance has been actively conducting marketing activities utilizing influencers in the domestic insurance industry, introducing products such as the "Han Moon-cheol's Initial Response Plan Driver Insurance" through attorney Han Moon-cheol, and the "Kim So-hyung's Care Plan Simple Health Insurance" through oriental medicine doctor Kim So-hyung. The "Seol Chae-hyun & Lee Ki-woo's Save Pet Plan" Direct Petbly Dog Insurance is also part of this initiative.

Veterinarian Seol Chae-hyun currently provides a variety of information related to dog diseases and behavioral correction through the EBS-TV program "There Are No Bad Dogs in the World." He is also an influencer who consistently delivers useful content for pet owners through his YouTube channel "Seol Chae-hyun's Nolleowa." Actor Lee Ki-woo is actively involved in volunteer work and donations to promote the adoption of abandoned dogs as the guardian of popular dogs Teddy and Chacha on social networking services (SNS). In addition to Instagram, he also runs the YouTube channel "Baekgu Sipigiwoo."

Through collaboration with influencers, DB Insurance has introduced a new concept of insurance that not only sells dog insurance but also enables donations. The Lee Ki-woo & Seol Chae-hyun Save Pet Plan is an online-exclusive product, and for each policy purchased through the DB Insurance Direct website, 10,000 KRW will be donated to cover health checkup costs for retired 119 rescue dogs.

In addition to reimbursement for actual medical expenses for pets, the plan includes DB Insurance's latest coverages such as ▲ dog bite accident fines ▲ dog bite accident behavior correction training fees (excluding dangerous dogs) ▲ dog entrustment costs, providing protection for dog owners as well.

A DB Insurance representative said, "Through this business agreement, we will strive to create an advanced pet culture and build a trustworthy image as a pet insurance company."
