Supplying 21-inch Ventus S1 Evo Z Tires
On July 25, Hankook Tire & Technology announced that it will exclusively supply its ultra-high-performance super sports tire, the 21-inch Ventus S1 Evo Z, as a replacement tire for Hyundai Motor's high-performance electric vehicle, the Ioniq 5 N.
The Ventus S1 Evo Z is a premium product currently supplied as original equipment tires for key high-performance models from brands such as Porsche Panamera, BMW M5, X3 M, X4 M, and Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe.
Based on a design specialized for high-performance electric vehicles, the core feature of this tire is the integration of technologies that both companies have developed through participation in global motorsport competitions, which is expected to deliver optimal driving performance.
Lee Yongkwan, Head of Hankook Tire Korea Business Division, stated, "This collaboration was born out of a shared vision between the two companies to bring the high-performance capabilities of the Ioniq 5 N into everyday life and offer drivers a fun driving experience." He added, "We plan to provide the best possible technical support so that customers can enjoy the most advanced sports driving experience."
