HDC Hyundai Development Company is launching the 'Jegidong Station IPARK', opening its model house on Friday, July 25, and officially beginning sales. The complex, located in Jegidong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, consists of two buildings with 351 units in total, ranging from 44 to 76 square meters of exclusive area, and spans from three basement floors to 32 above-ground floors. Out of these, 82 units with exclusive areas between 44 and 59 square meters will be available for general sale.
The general sale supply by type is as follows: 13 units of 44㎡A, 9 units of 44㎡B, 19 units of 51㎡, 30 units of 59㎡A, and 11 units of 59㎡B, with the overall offering focused on smaller units. As a result, the project is expected to attract significant interest from one- to two-person households, as well as young people and newlyweds seeking to reside in the area.
'Jegidong Station IPARK' is equipped with essential residential elements such as convenient transportation and living infrastructure. Firstly, the complex boasts a prime location near a subway station and is connected to a comprehensive metropolitan transportation network. Within a 100-meter radius of the complex is Jegidong Station on Seoul Subway Line 1, providing access to the three major central business districts of Seoul?CBD (Gwanghwamun, City Hall, and Jongno area)?within 20 minutes. Additionally, Jegidong Station is scheduled to become a transfer station for the Dongbuk Line of the Seoul Light Rail Transit, expected to open in November 2027, which will further enhance transportation options. The Naebu Expressway is also located nearby, making it easy to travel throughout Seoul by car.
The area is also rich in living infrastructure, increasing the quality of daily life. Lotte Department Store Cheongnyangni Branch, Lotte Mart, Homeplus Dongdaemun Branch, and Emart Cheonggyecheon Branch are all within a 10-minute drive. Major traditional markets such as Seoul Yangnyeong Market, Gyeongdong Market, and Cheongnyangni General Market are also close by, providing excellent living amenities. In addition, medical facilities such as Korea University Anam Hospital, Seoul Seongsim Hospital, and Seoul Metropolitan Dongbu Hospital are nearby, ensuring outstanding medical accessibility.
Residents can walk from the project site along the Jeongneungcheon promenade to Cheonggyecheon. Upon completion, the area is expected to transform into a new residential town representing the northern part of Seoul. Furthermore, Cheongnyangni Station, located nearby, is scheduled to be expanded with four additional lines, including GTX-B and GTX-C (planned), Myeonmok Line, and Gangbuk Transversal Line. In the future, a total of 10 lines will pass through, establishing it as the largest transportation hub in northern Seoul.
The fact that this is an IPARK-branded complex by HDC Hyundai Development Company, a first-tier construction company, is also raising expectations. All units will feature open-plan designs, and special designs such as a central public pedestrian passage will be implemented to maximize openness throughout the complex.
Meanwhile, the subscription schedule for 'Jegidong Station IPARK' begins with special supply on Tuesday, August 5, followed by first-priority applications on Wednesday, August 6, and second-priority applications on Thursday, August 7. The announcement of successful applicants is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, and the contract signing period will take place over three days from Monday, August 25 to Wednesday, August 27.
