Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on July 25 that it has provided emergency relief supplies to assist residents in areas heavily affected by the recent torrential rains.

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance delivered the first batch of 2,000 emergency relief kits through its agents to customers in 16 regions, including Chungnam, Jeonbuk, Jeonnam, Gyeongnam, and Gangwon, where flood damage from the heavy rains was particularly severe. The company is making every effort to respond promptly to emergency dispatch requests and compensation inquiries from customers affected by vehicle flooding. Measures are in place to ensure swift insurance payouts.

Financial support has also been arranged. For long-term policyholders, premium payments can be deferred for up to six months, and for general loans, principal repayment can be postponed for up to one year. For policy loans, interest payments can be deferred for up to one year.

A representative from Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance stated, "We hope this small gesture will be of help to residents who suffered significant damage from the recent floods," and added, "Following our support for wildfire victims in Gyeongbuk last March, this is our second response effort, and we will continue to share in the hardships of local communities and make various efforts to aid in recovery."
