[Weather] Sweltering Heat at 37 Degrees Tomorrow... Even Hotter Over the Weekend

On Friday, the 25th, the entire country is expected to be mostly clear, with the sweltering heat continuing.

The morning low temperatures are forecast to range from 21 to 27 degrees Celsius, while the daytime highs are expected to reach between 31 and 37 degrees Celsius. Many coastal and urban areas will experience tropical nights, with nighttime temperatures remaining above 25 degrees Celsius.

The morning low temperatures in major regions are as follows: Seoul 27 degrees, Incheon 25 degrees, Suwon 25 degrees, Chuncheon 23 degrees, Gangneung 27 degrees, Cheongju 26 degrees, Daejeon 25 degrees, Jeonju 24 degrees, Gwangju 25 degrees, Daegu 25 degrees, Busan 26 degrees, and Jeju 26 degrees.

The daytime high temperatures will be: Seoul 37 degrees, Incheon 34 degrees, Suwon 35 degrees, Chuncheon 35 degrees, Gangneung 35 degrees, Cheongju 36 degrees, Daejeon 37 degrees, Jeonju 36 degrees, Gwangju 36 degrees, Daegu 35 degrees, Busan 32 degrees, and Jeju 32 degrees.

Heat wave advisories have been issued for most regions nationwide. As the maximum perceived temperature will rise to around 35 degrees Celsius, it is important to take precautions for your health.

Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels in all areas due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.

Wave heights in the seas will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters.

In the offshore areas (within approximately 200 kilometers from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea.

On Saturday, the 26th, temperatures are expected to rise even further. On the 26th, the morning low temperatures are forecast to be between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs are expected to reach 32 to 38 degrees Celsius. If the temperature actually reaches 38 degrees, it will be the hottest July temperature ever recorded since meteorological observations began.
