This training was organized with the aim of producing and supplying safe food and increasing farmers' income.

The training was targeted at farms newly acquiring or renewing GAP certification. The curriculum focused on practical topics, including an overview of the GAP system, certification standards, safe use of pesticides, post-cultivation and harvest management, and hygiene management.

Farms that complete the training can submit an application to a GAP certification body and, after undergoing on-site inspections and supplementary processes, obtain certification. The certification remains valid for two years. Afterward, continuous certification can be maintained by applying for renewal before the expiration date.

Governor Namcheol Lee stated, "The GAP system is a core system not only for improving safety and quality, but also for securing consumer trust," adding, "We will enhance the competitiveness of our farms through ongoing training and support."
