Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province has opened a children's water play facility in the outdoor resting area of City Hall, free of charge, until the 17th of next month to help residents cool off during the summer heat.

The water play facility consists of a ground fountain and a water playground. It is available for children of elementary school age or younger. The facility operates from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. every week. It is closed every Monday and during rainy weather for facility inspection and cleanliness maintenance.
To ensure safety and hygiene, the city will have two safety personnel on duty at all times and will replace the pool water daily.
