This campaign was jointly organized by the Yangsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Gyeongnam East Branch of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, and the Gyeongnam Employers Federation, along with members of the Safety Practice Group, to protect construction workers who are continuously exposed to sunlight at outdoor worksites.

At the site, a coffee truck was operated to provide cold beverages, and OPS promotional materials containing the five basic heatwave safety rules for preventing heat illness (water, wind/shade, rest, cooling gear, and emergency measures) were distributed to raise workers' awareness.

In addition, a joint labor-management on-site inspection was conducted to prevent heat illness. The inspection focused on thoroughly checking whether the five basic heatwave safety rules were being properly followed at the site.

Kwon Guhyung, head of the branch, stated, "There is a high risk of heat illness due to heatwaves during the summer," and urged, "Worksites should strictly adhere to the five basic heatwave safety rules to ensure the protection of workers' health."
