Lim Chaeseong, Chairman of the Sejong City Council, operated a hands-on educational program on July 22 to help students of Jongchon Elementary School in his constituency understand local councils and grow as democratic citizens. Chairman Lim visited the school and explained the roles and functions of local councils to fifth-grade students. He stated, "It is a very valuable educational process for children to understand the principles of democracy and experience the role of the council," adding, "The council will continue to pursue open legislative activities in close communication with citizens in the future."
