On the 24th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will continue to experience clear and hot weather due to the influence of the North Pacific high-pressure system. The daytime high is forecast to reach up to 36 degrees Celsius, and the Korea Meteorological Administration has urged people to refrain from outdoor activities and working alone.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be on the edge of the North Pacific high-pressure system on this day. The morning low is expected to be between 22 and 25 degrees Celsius, while the daytime high will range from 33 to 36 degrees Celsius.
Waves in the seas off the west and south coasts are expected to be around 1 meter high, and the concentration of ultrafine dust is forecast to remain at a 'good' level.
An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "The weather continues to make people susceptible to heat-related illnesses," and advised, "Please drink water frequently and refrain from prolonged agricultural work or working alone."
