LX Hausys' Three Products, Including Windows, Selected as 'Green Product of the Year'

LX Hausys' 'LX Z:IN Viewframe' windows have been selected as the '2025 Korea Green Product of the Year.'

On July 23, LX Hausys announced that three of its products?including the 'Viewframe windows,' 'Editon flooring and wall materials,' and 'PF Board insulation'?were chosen as winners of the 2025 Korea Green Product of the Year, as announced by the Korea Green Purchasing Network.

The 'Green Product of the Year' is a leading domestic eco-friendly product award program organized by the Korea Green Purchasing Network since 2008. This year, products were evaluated based on their environmental performance and marketability using the ERRC (Eliminate, Reduce, Raise, Create) model, and the final selection was made through reviews by national consumer environmental organizations, a citizen review panel, and consumer voting.

In this year's evaluation, the Viewframe windows received high marks from the consumer review panel for two key reasons: their top-tier insulation performance, rated as Grade 1 in energy efficiency, which significantly improves the energy efficiency of buildings; and the introduction of a bezel-less frame design?the first of its kind in the domestic window industry?which provides a wider view.

In particular, since last month, the government's 'Zero-Energy Building Certification Mandate' has been expanded to include private residential complexes. As a result, the product has drawn attention for contributing to this policy, and not only was it selected as a Green Product, but it also received the 'Consumer's Choice Popularity Award,' given to the seven products with the highest consumer vote rates.

Editon flooring and wall materials were highly rated for two reasons: their environmentally friendly performance achieved by reducing hazardous substances during manufacturing and their excellent durability; and their integrated design that seamlessly connects walls and floors. PF Board insulation received high marks for two reasons: its top-level insulation performance among domestic building insulation materials, and its acquisition of eco-friendly certifications such as Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and low-carbon product certification.
