On the 22nd, Ansan City announced that it had held a kickoff briefing for the "Sangroksu Station Area Development Feasibility Study" at the city hall situation room.
This feasibility study aims to systematically develop city-owned land around the station area in line with the extension of the GTX-C line to Sangroksu Station. Previously, the city had conducted a basic planning study to pre-examine the viability of the project and establish a systematic development direction for the Sangroksu Station area.
Based on the basic plan, the city intends to use this feasibility study to: further specify the development plan; devise strategies to enhance the centrality of Sangroksu Station; and develop commercialization measures and an implementation roadmap in line with the opening of the GTX-C line.
Lee Mingeun, Mayor of Ansan, stated, "The Sangroksu Station area development project is a crucial initiative that will enhance the urban competitiveness of the old downtown and inject new vitality into the development of Ansan City by attracting new residents. Through this study, we will establish the optimal and most feasible plan for the project."
