Transaction Volume and Logistics for Amood in Japan Surge
Domestic and Overseas Logistics, Previously Integrated, to Be Separated
Abley, the fashion platform operated by Abley Corporation, announced on the 23rd that it will establish a global exclusive fulfillment center in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
Abley explained that the decision to open the new center was made in response to the increase in overseas logistics volume driven by the growing transaction volume of its Japanese service 'amood.' Currently, the number of markets listed on amood has surpassed 18,000, and as of last month, the number of products sold increased by more than 3.6 times (266%) compared to the same period last year. The transaction amount for amood in the first half of the year grew by 50% year-on-year.

The new logistics center will be dedicated to handling global logistics. It is located in Seongsu-dong, central Seoul, offering excellent access to the Dongdaemun wholesale district. Establishing a logistics hub in Seongsu-dong, where rental costs are high, is intended to provide greater convenience for sellers preparing to expand globally.
The company will separate domestic and overseas logistics, which were previously managed together, to improve logistics efficiency. Another feature is that the new center is located just a one-minute walk from the existing 3,000-pyeong logistics center in Seongsu. The new center, with a size of 400 pyeong, is scheduled for completion within this month.
Looking ahead, the new logistics center is expected to become a key hub in the global distribution network, starting with Japan and expanding to regions such as Taiwan. The strategy is to provide domestic sellers with infrastructure for global expansion and to deliver high-quality Korean products quickly to overseas customers, thereby enhancing competitiveness in the global market.
Kang Seokhoon, CEO of Abley, stated, "At a time when attention toward K-sellers is higher than ever both domestically and internationally, this global fulfillment center will accelerate the global expansion of small sellers, including individual sellers and emerging markets, greatly unlocking their potential. Based on our ongoing commitment to mutual growth since our founding, we will continue to invest so that sellers can demonstrate their capabilities not only in Korea but also in various countries around the world."
