Receive a 10,000 Won Coupon for Three Orders Over 20,000 Won Each on Ulsan Pedal
As Ulsan City is currently conducting the first round of Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon distribution, there is growing interest as receiving the coupon through Ulsan Pay enables its use not only at Ulsan Pay affiliated merchants but also at online platforms such as Ulsan Pedal and Ulsan Mall, along with access to various benefits.
According to the city, if the consumption coupon is received via Ulsan Pay, it can be used for payments not only at local affiliated merchants but also on the public delivery app 'Ulsan Pedal' and the local shopping mall 'Ulsan Mall'.
In particular, Ulsan Pedal is currently running a promotion where customers who place three orders of 20,000 won or more each will receive a 10,000 won coupon. Payments made with the consumption coupon are also included in this promotion, allowing users to enjoy additional benefits.
In addition, when using Ulsan Pedal and Ulsan Mall, customers can also apply the 'Dream (DREAM) Package' discount coupons worth a total of 170 million won together with the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon.
Ulsan Pay subscribers can receive a basic coupon of 7,000 won until August 31, and based on their purchase performance, can receive additional coupons of up to 8,000 won.
The income tax deduction benefit is also significant. When using the consumption coupon through Ulsan Pay, a 30% income tax deduction rate is applied, which is twice as high as that of credit cards (15%). When making payments at traditional markets, a 40% deduction rate is applied. However, Ulsan Pay rewards (cashback) are not provided in duplicate when paying with the consumption coupon.
An official from Ulsan City explained, "Although online payments with consumption coupons are generally restricted, if you receive the coupon through Ulsan Pay, you can use it on Ulsan Pedal and Ulsan Mall as well," adding, "It will also provide practical support to the sales of local affiliated merchants."
To receive the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon via Ulsan Pay, users must apply through the Ulsan Pay app by 18:00 on September 12. The coupon can be used until November 30, and any unused balance will be retrieved.
When making payments with Ulsan Pay, the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon amount is used first as the top priority, and users can check their remaining balance in real time through notifications each time they make a payment with the coupon.
Ulsan Pay affiliated merchants can be easily found through the 'Find Payment Stores' section within the Ulsan Pay app.
