Receive a 10,000 Won Coupon After Three Orders Over 20,000 Won on Ulsan Pedal
As Ulsan City is currently distributing the first round of Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupons, there is growing interest because, when the coupons are issued via Ulsan Pay, they can be used not only at Ulsan Pay-affiliated merchants but also at online platforms such as Ulsan Pedal and Ulsan Mall, with various additional benefits available.
According to the city, if the consumption coupons are received through Ulsan Pay, they can be used for payments not only at local affiliated merchants but also on the public delivery app 'Ulsan Pedal' and the regional shopping mall 'Ulsan Mall'.
In particular, Ulsan Pedal is currently running a promotion where users receive a 10,000 won coupon after placing three orders of 20,000 won or more, and payments made with the consumption coupons also count toward this promotion, allowing users to enjoy additional benefits.
Additionally, when using Ulsan Pedal and Ulsan Mall, users can also apply the 'Dream (DREAM) Package' discount coupons, which total 170 million won in value, together with the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupons.
Ulsan Pay members can receive a basic 7,000 won coupon until August 31, and based on their purchase records, they can receive up to an additional 8,000 won in coupons.
There are also significant income tax deduction benefits. When the consumption coupons are used via Ulsan Pay, a 30% income tax deduction rate is applied, which is twice as high as the 15% rate for credit cards. When payments are made at traditional markets, a 40% income tax deduction rate is applied. However, when paying with the consumption coupons, Ulsan Pay reward points (cashback) are not provided in addition.
An Ulsan City official explained, "While online payments with consumption coupons are generally restricted, if received via Ulsan Pay, they can also be used on Ulsan Pedal and Ulsan Mall," adding, "This will provide tangible support for sales at local affiliated merchants."
To receive the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupons via Ulsan Pay, applications must be submitted through the Ulsan Pay app by 18:00 on September 12. The coupons can be used until November 30, and any unused balance will be reclaimed.
When paying with Ulsan Pay, the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon amount is prioritized and used first, and users can check the remaining balance in real time through notifications each time a payment is made with the coupons.
Ulsan Pay-affiliated merchants can be conveniently found through the 'Find Payment Stores' section in the Ulsan Pay app.
