Missing Woman and Man Found Separately on the 22nd
The discovery of two missing residents who were found dead following the heavy rainfall in Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, has brought the total number of related fatalities to 12.

According to the Disaster Site Integrated Support Headquarters established in Sancheong-gun and other sources, at around 4:10 p.m. on July 22, a missing woman, believed to be in her 60s, was found buried in the ground in the Bangmok-ri area of Danseong-myeon, Sancheong-gun, by a police search dog.
Earlier, at around 3:10 p.m. that same day, fire authorities located a missing man, believed to be in his 70s, among a pile of floating debris on a road in Mogo-ri, Sancheong-eup.
Both missing persons were found near their residences. They were discovered in a state of cardiac arrest and were pronounced dead.
With the discovery of these two missing persons in a deceased state, the death toll from the recent heavy rainfall in Sancheong-gun has risen to 12, while the number of missing persons has decreased to 2.
