Students from Hanbat National University have received the Excellence Award at the "Artificial Intelligence (AI) Art Contest" organized by the Risk Society Consortium.
The Hanbat National University Humanities and Social Sciences Convergence Talent Training Project (HUSS) Research Institute announced on the 22nd that students from the Department of Public Administration, who are participating in the university's HUSS project, entered the contest held under the theme of "Digital Inclusion" and received the Excellence Award.

Students from five universities participated in the contest: Hanbat National University, Sunmoon University (the organizer), Sunchon National University, Sejong University, and Soonchunhyang University. These universities are currently forming and operating the HUSS Risk Society Consortium.
Jung Gaeun, Park Somi, and Kim Suyeon, third-year students from the Department of Public Administration at Hanbat National University, produced a video on the topic of digitally marginalized groups, such as the elderly and people with disabilities who face difficulties using digital media including kiosks, online reservations, and taxi applications, and submitted it to the contest.
The judges gave high marks for effectively raising awareness of digitally marginalized groups through the video produced by these students.
Kwon Kisuk, Director of the HUSS Research Institute at Hanbat National University, said, "Students from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences often feel a vague sense of reluctance toward contests related to digital topics. I am proud of the students who overcame this and participated in the contest, achieving such excellent results."
