Park Chanwook's New Film "No Other Choice" Starring Lee Byunghun to Be Released in September Movie trailer scene of "Eojheolsugaeopda". CJ ENM

Distributor CJ ENM announced on July 22 that director Park Chanwook's new film "No Other Choice" will be released in September.

The film tells the story of Mansu (Lee Byunghun), an office worker who is suddenly laid off and sets out on the path to reemployment in order to protect his family and home. Director Park has described this as "the project I wanted to make the most."

The teaser trailer released that day opens with Mansu's line: "In America, they call getting fired 'getting the axe.' Do you know what they call it in Korea? 'You're out.'"

It then introduces the main characters: Mansu, who begins his battle for reemployment, his steadfast wife Miri (Son Yejin), the paper company foreman election (Park Heesoon), industry veteran Beommo (Lee Sungmin), emotional artist Ara (Yum Hyeran), and the skilled Sijo (Cha Seungwon), each appearing in turn and heightening curiosity about the story.
