High Praise for Picture Quality, Color Accuracy, and Black Expression
Maintaining Global No. 1 for 12 Consecutive Years Since 2013 Launch
LG Electronics' OLED TV has ranked first in TV performance evaluations conducted by leading consumer media outlets in 14 countries worldwide.
According to a recent evaluation by the U.S. consumer media outlet Consumer Reports, announced on July 22, LG OLED TV received the highest scores in all screen size categories?over 70-inch, 65-inch, and 55?60-inch?where OLED (organic light-emitting diode) TVs are available. In particular, the 77-inch LG OLED Evo was described as "one of the best TVs you can buy," with its color accuracy, deep black expression, and unlimited viewing angles highlighted as strengths. The review stated that the product has "no weaknesses."
Major European consumer media outlets, in the region that represents the largest market for OLED TVs, have also selected LG OLED TV as the top product. The UK consumer media outlet Which? awarded the highest score to the 65-inch LG OLED Evo, praising it as "featuring the best OLED panel leading the TV industry, with outstanding picture quality as its core strength."
The Italian consumer media outlet Altroconsumo gave the highest score to the 65-inch LG OLED Evo, commending its "top-tier picture and sound quality, as well as excellent overall performance," and described it as a "refined and flawless product overall."
Outside of North America and Europe, the Australian consumer media outlet Choice also awarded the highest score to the 65-inch LG OLED Evo, citing its excellent user interface, well-balanced picture quality, and detailed sound as advantages.
Consumer media outlets in each country purchase products directly from the market, rather than receiving them from manufacturers, and conduct independent and fair evaluations. This approach has earned the trust of local customers. In addition, LG OLED Evo has received the highest scores from consumer media outlets in France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Denmark, and Finland.
Since launching the world's first OLED TV in 2013, LG Electronics has maintained the global No. 1 position for 12 consecutive years. The 2025 LG OLED TV is equipped with an OLED display that has received both the 'Perfect Black' and 'Perfect Color' certifications from the global certification body UL Solutions, confirming its ability to consistently reproduce black and other colors as originally intended. It has also received the 'Color Volume 100%' certification from Intertek, which measures whether the display can express the rich colors of the original video without distortion.
Furthermore, it became the first in the industry to receive the highest 'Perfect' grade in the 'Indoor Lighting Picture Quality Certification' from the global testing and certification organization TUV Rheinland. This certification assesses whether the TV can deliver consistent high picture quality even in brightly lit indoor environments where customers actually watch TV.
It also provides an optimal gaming experience for gamers who require ultra-fast response times. The display supports both NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium, and has received 'Gaming Performance Certification' from Intertek, ensuring a response time of less than 0.1ms. This allows even fast-moving scenes to be displayed smoothly and without interruption, providing a seamless gaming experience.
