The Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation announced on July 21 that it held the "2025 Second Half Mirae Asset Scholarship Correspondent Launch Ceremony."
The launch ceremony, held on July 18 at Mirae Asset Center One in Euljiro, Seoul, included the awarding of appointment certificates and a special lecture in which a senior correspondent shared their experiences. Since its inception in 2014, the Mirae Asset Scholarship Correspondent Program has seen a total of 345 students participate, sharing a wide range of exchange experiences abroad through various content.
This year's correspondents are 20 students selected from the 33rd class of Mirae Asset overseas exchange scholarship recipients. They are expected to produce content covering economic, financial, and cultural issues in their host countries, as well as tips for exchange student life. Their activities will be shared through the official SNS channels of the Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation.
Seo Eunwon, a correspondent from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology who is about to be dispatched to the Eindhoven University of Technology?known as the Silicon Valley of the Netherlands?said, "I am looking forward to reporting on visits to Fourth Industrial Revolution companies located in Eindhoven," and added, "As a correspondent, I hope to provide practical information to future scholarship recipients."
A representative from the Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation stated, "The process of interpreting one's own overseas experiences from a personal perspective is an important foundation for growing into a future leader," and added, "The foundation will continue to support young people so that they can realize their potential in a broader world."
Meanwhile, since its establishment in 2000, the Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation has been carrying out a variety of social contribution activities for future generations, including domestic and overseas scholarship programs and youth global cultural experience groups, as part of its commitment to 'practicing compassionate capitalism.'
