Digital Trade Support Center to Open in Songdo, Incheon in September... "Strengthening Export Capabilities"

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority plans to establish a Digital Trade Support Center on the first floor of Michuhol Tower in Songdo International City, with the goal of opening in September.

The Authority aims to develop the center as a key infrastructure hub to help local companies strengthen their export capabilities in a digital-based trade environment. The center will be equipped with filming equipment and studios necessary for digital content production, and will also provide on-site filming services to offer broad support to companies in the materials, parts, and equipment sectors.

The center will be linked to the four major digital trade platforms operated by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA)?TradeInvest24, TriBIG, Overseas Economic Information Dream, and buyKOREA?providing one-stop support throughout the entire export process, from export product content creation and digital marketing to buyer discovery, contract consultations, and workforce training.

In particular, when products are registered on buyKOREA, buyers from around the world can access them digitally and make purchase inquiries, while tailored marketing strategies such as targeted SNS advertisements are also provided.

For local companies, Incheon Technopark will offer linked services with its technology commercialization programs. These programs cover the entire growth cycle of companies, including technology development, certification support, prototype production, and marketing consulting, enabling integrated one-stop support from technology development to global expansion.

In addition, KOTRA will leverage its extensive overseas buyer network and country-specific market information databases accumulated over many years to accurately identify overseas demand and conduct digital marketing targeting specific buyers, thereby significantly increasing the likelihood of actual purchases and successful contracts.

An official from the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority stated, "Dexter will become a digital export hub that realizes an era where anyone can export," adding, "We will spare no effort in providing systematic support to ensure that local companies can enter the global stage with stability."
