This recruitment is open to nationwide groups of 20 or more people who wish to walk the Gochang Seohaeranggil, under the themes of birdwatching, cooking, healing, and companion animals, with the aim of promoting a safe walking culture across the country.

Groups will be selected on a rolling basis, in compliance with factors such as the nature of the group, self-funding ratio, and number of participants. After discussing detailed programs tailored to the characteristics of each group, the final program will be confirmed and operated.

Additionally, groups can participate in the program through self-funding matching and will receive special benefits such as a welcome kit, a limited edition Seohaeranggil badge, and local bus transportation. Applications will be accepted until October 31, but may close early if the budget is exhausted.

Meanwhile, the Korea Dulle-gil is an ultra-long-distance walking trail of about 4,500 kilometers that connects the outskirts of South Korea into one, consisting of the Seohaeranggil, Nampalanggil, Haepalanggil, and DMZ Peace Trail.

Among these, courses 41 to 43 of the Seohaeranggil, which pass through Gochang County, offer a walking journey of approximately 52.4 kilometers, passing through the Gochang Tidal Flats, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, facing the thousand-year-old Seonunsa Temple, and leading to Jilmajae-gil. For more details, please refer to the Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation website.

Cho Changhwan, Executive Director of the Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation, said, "The Gochang section of the Seohaeranggil is a beautiful coastal trail that passes through the World Natural Heritage tidal flats. We hope for the active interest and participation of groups wishing to join a walking program that shares this brilliant heritage."
