Daejin Advanced Materials Signs 15 Billion KRW Supply Contract with Italy's Plasco Tech

Daejin Advanced Materials announced on the 21st that it has signed a supply contract worth 15 billion KRW with the Italian specialist company PLASCO TECH. The contract period is set for three years, from October this year until 2028, with an annual supply of products valued at 5 billion KRW.

PLASCO TECH is recognized for its advanced process technologies such as plastic injection molding, automated painting, and assembly, as well as its rigorous quality management system, which have earned it competitiveness in global markets including Europe and Korea. The company has established production and supply chains in major European countries such as Germany, building trust with global clients.

This contract is an extension of Daejin Advanced Materials' ongoing supply agreements with major global clients. Previously, Daejin Advanced Materials demonstrated its technological capabilities and product quality in the global market by signing supply contracts with BSH Home Appliances, a subsidiary of Germany's Robert Bosch specializing in home appliances, and Oakwood Group, a global automotive technology company supplying key materials to the automotive industries in the United States and Europe.

BSH is the home appliance subsidiary of the German Bosch Group, operating production bases in over 50 countries worldwide, and is renowned for its stringent quality control and sustainable manufacturing processes. Oakwood Group is a specialized automotive technology company providing high-quality plastic material solutions such as audio covers and energy absorbers to global automakers including Ford, GM, and Hyundai Motor Company.

Yoo Sungjun, CEO of Daejin Advanced Materials, stated, "The fact that world-leading global companies such as BSH, Oakwood Group, and now PLASCO TECH recognize Daejin Advanced Materials' material technology and production capabilities is highly significant. This demonstrates that Daejin Advanced Materials has established itself as a reliable advanced materials specialist in the global market."

He added, "We will continue to enhance our technology and productivity, expand cooperation with a broader range of global companies, and actively increase the proportion of overseas sales."

Meanwhile, on July 18, Daejin Advanced Materials established dispersion equipment for the development of high-dispersion CNT (carbon nanotube) slurry for batteries and opened a branch research institute to facilitate practical industry-academia-research collaboration. In addition, the company is conducting joint research with Professor Shin Youngjun of Gachon University (former CTO of LG Energy Solution) and Professor Chae Ohbyung to overcome the technical limitations of existing CNTs.
