Hampyeong County, Jeollanam-do announced on July 20 that, ahead of Chobok, it visited workers engaged in on-site duties despite the sweltering weather to encourage them to take care of their health and safety.

On July 16, Hampyeong-eup directly visited field workers, including participants in senior and disability employment programs and self-support projects, to express appreciation for their hard work and to provide guidance on summer health management rules.

This visit was organized to thank participants who have been diligently carrying out their duties, such as "Hampyeong-eup Environmental Maintenance," despite the ongoing hot and humid weather, and to prevent heat-related illnesses and safety accidents caused by the heatwave.

In addition, the county provided information on the prevention of heat-related illnesses such as heatstroke and how to respond in emergency situations. It also listened to workers' concerns and explored practical support measures, including adjusting working hours and reducing work intensity.

Jung Hwaja, head of Hampyeong-eup, stated, "I sincerely thank all participants who are working hard for the community even during the heatwave and rainy season. Above all, we will continue to provide meticulous administrative support, prioritizing the health and safety of seniors and workers."
