Experience Andong's Core Industries: Agriculture, Bio, and Cultural Tourism
Includes a Two-Day, One-Night Hackathon
Andong City in Gyeongbuk Province and the Andong Model Job Project Group are recruiting participants for the "2025 Andong Regional Cooperation Youth Forum," which aims to strengthen the industrial capabilities of local youth and help them establish a foundation for settling in the region. Applications are open until July 29, and final participants will be selected through a document screening process.
This forum is part of a regional industry-linked AI convergence education project, designed to enable young people to gain an in-depth understanding of Andong's core industries?agriculture, bio, and cultural tourism?and to propose creative solutions.
In particular, the forum features a hands-on program targeting local high school students and university (including graduate) students, and is expected to receive a strong response from participants.
The event will be held over six days, from August 4 to August 9. The main programs include: ▲ field visits and analysis of major companies and industrial sites in Andong ▲ expert lectures to understand industry trends ▲ a two-day, one-night team-based idea hackathon to solve corporate challenges. Participation in the hackathon is completely free of charge. All participants will receive certificates of completion, and outstanding teams in the hackathon will be awarded.

An official from Andong City stated, "This forum will provide local youth with the opportunity to experience the regional industrial field in depth and achieve practical growth through problem-solving-based learning," adding, "We will continue to offer various opportunities so that young people can plan their futures in Andong."
