Construction of 14 Buildings with 971 Units Near Sinjeongnegeori Station
All Union Members to Enjoy Full Views of Gaenam Neighborhood Park
Community Facilities to Include 360-Degree Panoramic Sky Lounge
The Construction Division of Samsung C&T Corporation has secured a redevelopment project worth 450 billion KRW at 1152 Sinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul.
Samsung C&T announced on July 20 that it was selected as the final contractor at the general meeting of the Sinjeong-dong 1152 Redevelopment Maintenance Association held the previous day. This project involves constructing a total of 14 buildings, each ranging from four underground to 15 above-ground floors, with 971 residential units and various community facilities at 1152 Sinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. The construction cost is approximately 450.7 billion KRW.
The site is within a six-minute walk from Sinjeongnegeori Station on Subway Line 2, making it a prime location for public transportation. The area is also known for its excellent educational environment, with schools such as Nammyeong Elementary School, Singi Elementary School, Sinseo Middle School, Sinnam Middle School, Yangcheon High School, and Mokdong High School located nearby. In addition, residential conditions are enhanced by the proximity of parks such as Gaenam Neighborhood Park and Yangcheon-gu Sinteri Park.
Samsung C&T has proposed the name 'Mokdong Raemian Trameson (TRAMAISON)' for the complex. The name is a combination of the Italian word 'TRA,' meaning 'center,' and 'MAISON,' meaning 'house.' It reflects the company's intention to make the Sinjeong 1152 redevelopment project, which embraces the natural beauty of Gaenam Neighborhood Park, a landmark representing the Mokdong area.
The company aims to present another residential masterpiece that continues the prestige and pride of 'Mokdong Trapalace,' which marked the beginning of high-end residential culture, and 'Raemian Mokdong Adellize,' which elevated the status of residential culture in the area.
The exterior design of the complex will feature a specialized rooftop structure with a curtain wall look and rounded edges, expressing architectural beauty where the city and nature coexist harmoniously. The gate, inspired by the sun, is connected to the decked commercial area, adding a sense of grandeur.
The original plan of 16 residential buildings was optimized and reduced to 14, enabling a total of 578 units to enjoy permanent views of Gaenam Neighborhood Park. All 445 union members will benefit from this permanent view premium.
The four-tiered site levels will be integrated into two, improving connectivity and creating a large green space of approximately 4,978 square meters (about 1,508 pyeong), which did not exist before.
The complex will feature a premium community with a total of 30 programs, including a sky community offering a 360-degree panoramic view, an indoor gymnasium, a golf practice range, a sauna, and a study lounge.
All union members' units will have expanded balconies, and specialized floor plans will maximize residential comfort by offering an open LDK (living-dining-kitchen) layout, terraces, and open balconies.
Lim Cheoljin, Executive Director and Head of Housing Sales Team 1 at Samsung C&T, stated, "We have prepared a variety of differentiated proposals to ensure this becomes a landmark representing the Mokdong area. We will do our utmost to ensure that residents experience both the intrinsic value of living and a unique premium."
Based on this redevelopment project win, Samsung C&T plans to accelerate efforts to secure additional large-scale maintenance projects in the Mokdong area, which are set to begin in earnest next year.
