Relief efforts continue to support regions and residents affected by heavy rainfall.
On the 20th, Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pilho) announced that, with support from CJ Foodville, it had provided emergency relief supplies for flood victims in the Chungnam region on July 18. The aid included 2,400 servings of bread and beverages, totaling 4,800 items: 2,400 pieces of bread and 2,400 bottles of beverages. All supplies were shipped from CJ Foodville's Eumseong plant and delivered to temporary shelters in Dangjin City, Asan City, and Yesan County in Chungnam, where flood victims are currently staying.
Individual donations have also continued. Creator Chimchakman (real name: Lee Byunggeon) and broadcaster Seungyun Lee each donated 10 million won. Chimchakman previously donated 20 million won in March to support recovery from wildfires in the Yeongnam region. He once again joined in sharing with neighbors affected by this disaster, offering his warm support. Chimchakman stated, "Although it is a small gesture, I sincerely hope it can bring comfort and strength to those suffering from flood damage."
Seungyun Lee said, "With the hope that those affected can smile again, I contributed what little I could," adding, "I hope this situation passes without further damage." As a Hope Bridge "Hope Ambassador" and a member of the "Hope Bridge Honors Club," a high-value donor group, Seungyun Lee has consistently participated in charitable giving. He has continued to make donations during domestic and international disasters, such as the wildfires in Gangwon and the earthquake in T?rkiye, spreading positive influence. Including this latest donation, Seungyun Lee's total contributions to Hope Bridge have reached 133 million won.
