In his greeting at the event, Mayor Shin stated, "You are now standing at an important crossroads in your life," and added, "I hope that through this career expo, which Seongnam City has hosted for three consecutive years, students will be able to make more accurate and wise career decisions."
Mayor Shin also emphasized, "Above all, this is a time when your own choice is most important, so I hope you will receive sufficient counseling and information here today and make your decisions carefully." He offered sincere advice to each and every student.
During his visit to the expo, Mayor Shin actively communicated with students, parents, and counseling teachers as he toured the following areas: the senior university student counseling booth at Moran Hall on the 2nd floor, the Hanuri special lecture hall on the 3rd floor, the career counseling teacher booth at Nuri Hall, and the university-specific counseling booths in front of Onnuri Hall on the 1st floor.
Now in its third year since its inception in 2023, this expo featured participation from 23 major universities nationwide, including Sungkyunkwan University, Sogang University, and Hanyang University. Over 100 counseling booths and a variety of special lectures on university admissions were operated, providing practical information to students preparing for early admissions.
