On July 18, Mokpo City announced that it will hold a special performance titled 'Welcome to Mokpo Water and Fire Show' on the 26th at the Peace Plaza Marine Stage. This summer festival will offer audiences a refreshing experience through a spectacular collaboration of an EDM water bomb show and a fireworks display.
The stage will feature explosive performances by hip-hop artists Sleepy, Bizzy, and Wooside, as well as the emotive vocalist JD. The subsequent fireworks show will brilliantly illuminate the Mokpo sea in sync with iconic summer K-pop songs such as 'Beach Again' by SSAK3 and 'It Was Summer' by H1-KEY.
Citizens and tourists who wish to attend can make advance reservations starting at 10 a.m. on July 19 through the official Mokpo Marine W Show website. Additionally, 60 reserved seats will be set aside for seniors, pregnant women, people with disabilities, and veterans.
A city official stated, "We aim to create unforgettable summer memories for citizens and tourists who are weary from the heat," adding, "We will prepare a safe and high-quality performance."
