Hana Card Offers 3.3% Daangn Pay Safe Payment Fee Waiver Once a Month

5% Rewards on Payments Made with Daangn Money Check Card

Hana Card announced on the 18th that it is launching a promotion in which customers who use its cards for payments will receive a full waiver of the 3.3% fee for Daangn Pay Safe Payment Service once a month.

According to Hana Card, as of the 14th, card payments for the Daangn Pay Safe Payment Service have been expanded nationwide. This allows users to conduct secondhand transactions more conveniently using their cards.

Card payments via Daangn Pay are now available nationwide, beyond the previous pilot regions such as Seocho-gu, Gangnam-gu, and Songpa-gu in Seoul.

With Daangn Pay Safe Payment, the seller receives the payment only after the buyer confirms receipt of the item. This is a secure payment system designed to minimize the risk of fraud in secondhand transactions.

Previously, payments could only be made using Daangn Money, but now card payments are also possible. The maximum payment amount is 1.95 million won per transaction and 2.5 million won per month. Hana Card also offers up to five months of interest-free installment payments.

Additionally, if customers use the Daangn Money Hana Check Card for Safe Payment after issuance, they can earn Daangn Money equivalent to 5% of the payment amount, up to a maximum of 30,000 won, depending on their previous month's spending.

This is a differentiated service offered exclusively by Hana Card, the only card issuer to operate a co-branded card (PLCC) with Daangn.

A Hana Card representative stated, "We are pleased to collaborate with Daangn Pay to provide an environment where customers can experience safer and more convenient secondhand transactions," adding, "Through this promotion, which combines fee waivers and rewards, Hana Card customers will be able to enjoy exclusive benefits."

Meanwhile, since March, Daangn Pay has been operating a 'Safe Compensation' system, which compensates buyers under certain conditions if they do not receive the item or fall victim to fraud such as counterfeit goods.
