Icheon City to Establish Public Daycare Center at Janghowon Woobang IU Shell Apartment

Free Lease Agreement Signed with Residents' Representative Council

Icheon City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 17th that it had signed a free lease agreement on the 16th with the Residents' Representative Council of Janghowon Woobang IU Shell Mega Hive Apartment for the installation of a public national and public daycare center within the apartment complex.

This agreement aims to allow more citizens to benefit from public childcare by establishing and operating a national and public daycare center within the apartment complex.

Under the agreement, the Residents' Representative Council will provide the daycare center space free of charge for ten years. The city will remodel the space and establish a national and public daycare center to provide childcare services.

Kim Kyunghee, Mayor of Icheon, said, "I hope this agreement will become another turning point for the expansion of public childcare in Icheon."
