One-on-One Matching Consultations Between Busan Public Institutions and Local Companies
First Step Toward Building a Foundation for Win-Win Cooperation
Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC, President Shin Changho) announced on July 17 that the "2025 Regional Win-Win Public Procurement Consultation," which was the first event of its kind hosted by a local public enterprise in Busan, concluded successfully with the active participation of local companies.
This consultation event was held on July 15 to expand opportunities for local companies to enter public institutions and to establish a practical foundation for win-win cooperation.
The event brought together 14 public institutions from the Busan area and a total of 54 companies, including small and medium-sized enterprises and social enterprises. Participants engaged in one-on-one customized consultations on various topics related to public procurement demand and supply.
Companies holding various certifications, such as technology development products, green products, women-owned businesses, and standard workplaces for people with disabilities, used this event to explore the possibility of entering the public procurement market and to seek opportunities for collaboration with participating institutions.
A representative from one of the participating companies commented, "It was a very practical event, as we were able to go beyond simply receiving information and actually understand bidding strategies and institutional demand. I hope opportunities like this will continue to expand in the future."
Shin Changho, President of Busan Metropolitan Corporation, stated, "I hope this event will serve as a starting point to strengthen the connection between public institutions and local companies. As a company for the citizens of Busan, we will continue to operate win-win models to revitalize the local economy."
