11 Courses Including Certification and Foreign Languages
Namwon City in North Jeolla Province will be accepting applications for students for the 'Baeume Online Learning' program on a first-come, first-served basis at the Namwon Lifelong Learning Center from July 21 to 31.
According to the city on July 17, 'Baeume Online Learning' is an online specialized program promoted as part of the smart lifelong learning initiative.
This non-face-to-face educational program allows anyone to participate easily without location restrictions. Classes are mainly conducted using the Zoom program, with a maximum of 10 participants per course.
This year, in particular, new courses have been added, including certification programs, an introduction to financial technology, and foreign language conversation, offering fun and diverse lectures. In addition, evening classes will be expanded to allow office workers to participate.
Any resident of Namwon City aged 18 or older can apply, and all courses are free of charge. Applications will be accepted online on a first-come, first-served basis through the Namwon City Integrated Reservation and Application System.
For some courses, participants may be required to pay for materials or examination fees in addition to the tuition, which is free. Detailed information can be found in the course syllabi attached to the application website.
The program consists of 11 courses in 4 fields (certification, professional competency, financial technology, foreign language). Each course is held 15 times, once or twice a week, and is taught by professional instructors.

We will continue to expand the variety of educational programs so that citizens can develop themselves and improve their quality of life through lifelong learning."
