Global ERP Odoo Forms Strategic Partnership with Wishket

Strengthening the Targeting of the SME and Mid-Sized Enterprise ERP Market

Global ERP Odoo Forms Strategic Partnership with Wishket

Global all-in-one business solutions provider Odoo has announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with Wishket, Korea's leading IT project platform, to actively target the customized ERP market for domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

This partnership focuses on addressing the digital transformation challenges faced by SMEs, particularly the high initial implementation costs and limited customization options. The two companies plan to overcome the limitations of the domestic ERP market by supporting customized ERP operations at a reasonable monthly subscription fee.

Odoo is an all-in-one business solution based on an open-source, flexible modular architecture, offering over 70 official apps and more than 57,000 third-party apps that cover all business functions such as sales, manufacturing and inventory management, finance, and HR. Wishket, as the largest IT project platform in Korea, boasts a pool of 140,000 verified IT professionals and a stable lead pipeline, enabling rapid market entry in Korea.

This collaboration aims to solve the challenges SMEs face, including high costs, limited customization, and a shortage of skilled professionals. By adopting a subscription model, the initial investment burden is reduced. Leveraging Odoo’s flexible open-source structure and Wishket’s developer pool, the partnership will deliver tailored ERP solutions. In addition, verified IT experts will support the entire process from implementation to operation.

Matts Fievez, Head of Asia-Pacific at Odoo, stated, "A key strength of Odoo is the ability to freely add over 70 official apps as businesses grow," adding, "Forming a strategic partnership with Wishket presents an opportunity for domestic SMEs to accelerate digital transformation without concerns over IT workforce shortages or high costs."

Park Woobeom, CEO of Wishket, commented, "This collaboration goes beyond simply introducing a good solution; it is a comprehensive alternative that addresses the IT workforce shortage faced by domestic SMEs," and added, "To lower the barriers to digital transformation for SMEs, we will provide a one-stop service that covers everything from solution proposals to implementation, operation, and ongoing enhancement."

This cooperation between Odoo and Wishket is expected to serve as a significant stepping stone for domestic SMEs to overcome technological barriers and accelerate business innovation. Meanwhile, those seeking professional consultation on ERP implementation and operation can make reservations through the official Odoo website.

Odoo, headquartered in Belgium, is a global open-source ERP solution and a unicorn company with over 15 million users. Through more than 70 official apps and 57,000 third-party apps, it supports all aspects of business operations, including sales, manufacturing, inventory, finance, and HR. The company operates in 19 countries and regions worldwide, including the United States, Indonesia, Dubai, and Hong Kong (China).

Wishket is Korea’s largest IT outsourcing platform, with 140,000 IT professionals and over 100,000 corporate members. When an IT project is requested, Wishket provides all necessary services in a one-stop system, including matching with verified development companies and IT freelancers, secure payment, and project success systems, thereby building a highly reliable IT business ecosystem.
