The main points of the agreement include: ▲cooperation in the development of the Cheongsong Smart Agriculture Complex Cultural District, ▲introduction of advanced agricultural technologies and smart farms, and ▲support for job creation and economic revitalization for local residents.
Cheongsong County plans to use this agreement as an opportunity to establish a practical foundation for recovery in communities struggling due to the forest fire. The county also aims to successfully create a "Smart Agriculture Complex Cultural District" that incorporates advanced agricultural technologies, presenting a future-oriented model for agricultural innovation.
Yoon Kyunghee, Governor of Cheongsong County, stated, "This agreement is an important starting point that will elevate Cheongsong's agriculture and local economy to the next level." He added, "We have high expectations, especially with the participation of Kyungnong, a leader in the smart farm and agricultural sectors. Moving forward, we will work to restore the local economy and build a sustainable agricultural ecosystem through close cooperation with private companies."
Representatives from Kyungnong, Telofarm, and Korea Everyfarm who participated in the agreement also commented, "Through cooperation with Cheongsong County, we will provide full support in terms of technology and resources, and contribute to realizing the value of mutual growth."
Cheongsong County plans to use this agreement as an opportunity to turn the region's crisis into an opportunity and further strengthen the public-private partnership system for sustainable regional development based on advanced technologies.
