Daesun Joojo Signs Agreement with Busan East Branch of Ministry of Employment and Labor to Promote and Expand Safety Culture

On July 15, Daesun Joojo, a leading liquor company in Busan, signed a business agreement with the Busan East Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor at its Gijang plant to promote and expand a culture of safety.

This agreement was established as part of the activities of the Safety Culture Practice Promotion Group, a grassroots organization focused on spreading a safety culture in the region, with the aim of building a nationwide consensus that safety is a core priority for Korea.


The signing ceremony was attended by Park Changpyo, Plant Manager of Daesun Joojo, Jeon Junhyeon, Head of the Busan East Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and other representatives from both organizations.


Under the agreement, Daesun Joojo plans to actively promote a wide range of safety culture initiatives, including spreading safety messages using its products.


Previously, Daesun Joojo has played a leading role in ensuring the safety of local community members by collaborating with the Busan East Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor to include the phrase "You can break a glass, but you can't break safety" on its products and through its social media channels.


Choi Hongseong, CEO of Daesun Joojo, stated, "Protecting the safety of workers is the most fundamental social responsibility. As a local company that has been with Busan for nearly 100 years, we will do our utmost to lead and establish a culture of safety throughout the region's industries."
