To mark the 80th anniversary of Liberation, the Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs has joined hands with the local coffee brand Hasamdong Coffee to launch a special cup holder campaign that embodies the meaning of liberation.
The Busan Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (headed by Lee Namil) is collaborating with Hasamdong Coffee to produce cup holders inscribed with the phrase "80th Anniversary of Liberation, Korea United Through Patriots and Veterans Affairs," which will be distributed to stores nationwide. The design, which combines traditional hanok architecture, the Taegeukgi pattern, and Hasamdong Coffee's brand identity, stands out.
This campaign goes beyond simple promotion. By scanning the QR code on the cup holder, customers can access the "Yeogibohun" website and participate in an event by uploading a certification photo of the cup holder. Running until Liberation Day, the event also offers mobile gift certificates as prizes.
The Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs previously conducted a similar collaboration with Hasamdong Coffee during Patriots and Veterans Month last year. Due to the enthusiastic response at that time, the scale and opportunities for participation have been further expanded this year.
An official from the Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs stated, "It is meaningful to create an opportunity for people to naturally experience the value of patriots and veterans affairs in everyday life together with local companies like Hasamdong Coffee," adding, "We will continue to promote the spread of a culture of honoring patriots and veterans in a more familiar way through close cooperation with the private sector."
