From July 18 to August 24, for a total of 38 days, Uljin’s beaches will be open to the public. With their clear, transparent blue waters, soft white sand, and lush pine forests, these beaches are ideal healing spots for the height of summer.

This year, the opening of the Donghae Line railway makes it even easier to reach Uljin from major cities such as Seoul and Busan, with ITX-Maum and Nuriro trains now available. In addition, the Donghae Line tourist train program allows visitors to enjoy the sea views and a leisurely journey, making the transportation itself part of the fun.

Uljin County has already expanded various marine leisure activities and enhanced safety facilities for visitors. In addition to activities such as yachting and scuba diving, the county is also offering free rural bus rides and tourist taxi services, which have been well received by families and group travelers.

Above all, do not miss the "Night Uljin" event, which will be held for six days from July 29 to August 3. On these midsummer nights, various locations throughout Uljin will transform into night tourism spots, offering a different kind of charm from the daytime. There will be nighttime openings of attractions such as Seongnyugul Cave and the Sibiryeong Old Road, as well as night markets, busking performances, and themed experiences, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the summer night atmosphere.

County Governor Son Byungbok said, "I hope you can spend a refreshing summer and recharge at Uljin’s clean beaches," adding, "We will do our best to establish Uljin as the best summer destination as we move toward the era of 10 million tourists."

This summer, escape the city heat and create special memories at Uljin’s pristine beaches.
