Cheongsong County (Governor Yoon Kyunghee) will conduct guidance and inspections of local accommodation businesses from July 14 to July 18 to ensure a pleasant sanitary environment and friendly service.
This inspection is being carried out as a measure to provide visitors to the region with clean accommodations at reasonable prices by preemptively checking and guiding against price gouging and the sanitary condition of bedding and other facilities during the peak vacation season.
The main items to be checked include: ▲ Posting of accommodation price lists ▲ Enrollment in disaster liability insurance ▲ Compliance with accommodation cooking standards ▲ Inspection of hygiene management such as cleanliness and disinfection ▲ Safety of air conditioning and heating facilities ▲ Compliance with other business operation requirements.
Governor Yoon Kyunghee stated, "Through this inspection of accommodation businesses, we will create a hygienic and trustworthy lodging environment, improve inconveniences for tourists through preemptive checks, and do our best to make Cheongsong a place visitors want to return to."
