Cooperation for Child Protection:
Missing Child Prevention, Safety Education, and Support for Vulnerable Groups
Kidzania Busan, a global children's career experience theme park (CEO Kang Jae-hyung), announced on July 16 that it has signed a business agreement with the Busan Police Agency (Commissioner Kim Soo-hwan) to create a safer community for children.
The signing ceremony took place at the Busan Police Agency, with CEO Kang Jae-hyung of Kidzania Korea, Commissioner Kim Soo-hwan of the Busan Police Agency, and officials from both organizations in attendance.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to jointly promote a variety of child protection activities, including: preventing missing children through pre-registration of fingerprints; regularizing 'Code Adam' drills; providing safety education for children; and expanding career experience opportunities for children from vulnerable groups.
CEO Kang Jae-hyung stated, "At a time when various social risks threatening children are on the rise, it is especially meaningful to work with the Busan Police Agency to create an environment where children can grow up safely," and added, "We will do our utmost to ensure that children can dream of the future with peace of mind through close cooperation."
