Free One-on-One Business Consulting for Artists and Arts Enterprises
"Biz Center Consulting Day" to Be Held Twice on July 21 and August 25
Hosted by the Arts Management Support Center

The Arts Management Support Center under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on July 16 that it will hold the '2025 Art Korea Lab Biz Center Consulting Day' on July 21 and August 25 to support the creative activities of artists (and organizations) and to strengthen the business capabilities of arts enterprises.

This event has been organized to introduce a new consulting program at the 'Biz Center' operated by Art Korea Lab. The program aims to provide balanced management consulting support for both creative activities and business operations. Art Korea Lab, launched by the Arts Management Support Center under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in October 2023, is a comprehensive support platform for artists and arts enterprises, offering various infrastructure such as office space and creative/production demonstration areas.


The event will be held twice in total. The first session will take place on July 21 at the AKL Agora on the 6th floor of Art Korea Lab in Jongno-gu, Seoul, in cooperation with the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture. The second session will be held on August 25 in partnership with the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation.


During the first session, there will be one-on-one customized consulting and expert lectures across a total of seven fields: government support programs, promotion/marketing/branding, legal affairs, taxation/accounting, entrepreneurship and commercialization in the arts sector, overseas expansion of visual arts, and overseas expansion of performing arts.


The lectures will be delivered by Byun Jia, CEO of K-Artists, and Lee Heejin, CEO of Producer Group DOT. Byun Jia will speak on "2025 Global Art Market Trends and the Current Status of the Domestic Market," while Lee Heejin will present "Practical Cases of International Collaboration for Performing Arts Professionals."


Anyone interested in the commercialization of culture and the arts?including artists (and organizations), arts enterprise representatives, prospective entrepreneurs, and university students?can participate. Applications for the first session are accepted online until 6:00 p.m. on July 18. Participants may apply for one-on-one consulting in up to three fields. Further details can be found in the notices on the websites of the Arts Management Support Center and Art Korea Lab.


Even after the event, it will be possible to reserve free one-on-one consulting services at the 'Biz Center' through the Art Korea Lab website.
