Ansan Village Community Hub 'Village Community Comprehensive Support Center' to Open on July 24

Village Residents' Council and Village-Making Support Center Established

A hub space supporting local community activities for residents will open on July 24 in Sadong, Sangnok-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province.

On July 16, Ansan City announced that it will officially open and begin full-scale operation of the "Village Community Comprehensive Support Center," which was built at 1557 Sadong and will open on July 24.

Located near the Sangnok District Office, the center is a four-story building with one basement level and a total floor area of 1,522 square meters. It will be operated as a communication space freely accessible to all citizens.

On the first floor, the "Raon" cafe and lounge, linked to senior employment programs, have been established. The "Kkumieum Korean Language Class" for youth with migrant backgrounds, as well as the Residents' Autonomy Council and Village-Making Support Center, are also located here. At this site, various information about village projects will be provided, guidance on participation methods will be offered, and customized consulting will be conducted.

To ensure accessibility for all citizens, the center also offers two small meeting rooms, a large conference room, a multipurpose room, and a multipurpose hall for rental. Each space is equipped with basic meeting and educational equipment such as beam projectors and audio systems, allowing for citizen gatherings, educational sessions, and workshops.

Reservations can be made through the Ansan City Integrated Reservation System website or by visiting the Village Community Comprehensive Support Center in person.
