Signed MOU with Bottle Cap Specialist Company
Boram Bio, an affiliate of Boram Group, announced on the 16th that it has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Ha Eun Cap, a company specializing in the development of bottle caps.
The agreement was signed to lay the groundwork for Boram Bio to convert the caps of spout pouch-type beverages to "integrated caps."

Spout pouches are containers in pouch form with screw caps attached. Due to their small size and complex structure, there has been a high risk of loss or mixed disposal during the recycling process. In contrast, integrated caps are designed to remain attached to the main body and open without separation, which can improve recycling efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Through this agreement, Boram Bio has established a foothold for entering overseas markets such as the European Union (EU), where the use of integrated caps has been made mandatory due to environmental regulations. The company plans to apply integrated cap packaging to five types of spout pouch beverages, including new products, for the first time in Korea.
A Boram Bio official stated, "We will continue to play a responsible role in the bio-healthcare industry by applying eco-friendly materials and developing sustainable products."
