[Click e-Stock] "FineMTech Expected to Benefit from Foldable iPhone"

On July 16, Yuanta Securities stated that FineMTech is expected to benefit if Apple launches a foldable iPhone in the second half of this year.

Kwon Myungjun, a researcher at Yuanta Securities, explained, "FineMTech sells metal plates (internal hinges)," adding, "The company supplies internal hinges to Samsung Electronics and Chinese smartphone manufacturers through Samsung Display."

He continued, "FineMTech has experience in stably delivering large-scale supplies compared to its competitors," and added, "Through years of supplying internal hinges for foldable smartphones, the company has accumulated experience working with various materials and has developed advanced processing technology know-how."

He analyzed, "Apple is expected to adopt Samsung Display's crease-free foldable display solution for its first foldable iPhone," emphasizing, "The core of the technology is the metal plate." He further highlighted, "If the first foldable iPhone folds horizontally, as projected by many research institutions, and annual sales reach 10 million units, FineMTech's revenue could increase."
