On this day, President Trump posted on his self-created social networking service, Truth Social, saying, "Just signed a great deal with Indonesia, for everyone."

He added, "I negotiated directly with their highly respected president," and stated that "details will follow."

As a result, the number of countries with which President Trump has reached a trade agreement since announcing reciprocal tariffs on April 2 has increased to three: the United Kingdom, Vietnam, and now Indonesia. Previously, President Trump had set a reciprocal tariff rate of 32% on Indonesia.
